Bacary Sagna wants to win a major trophy for Arsène Wenger to repay his faith in the Arsenal squad.
The manager brought Sagna to Emirates Stadium three summers ago but the right back is still waiting for his first piece of silverware in English football - aside from the Emirates Cup, of course.
A successful challenge for the Premier League or Champions League is the priority this season and Sagna would dedicate any triumph to the 60-year-old.
"He has done great work at Arsenal and we want to win things for him," said Sagna.
"Everything he has given us we need to give him back. That is what we will try to do and it would be great to win something."
Wenger's current deal expires at the end of this season, although he said back in April that talks over a new contract would begin "in the autumn".
Nonetheless Sagna is not concerned about his manager's contract situation - he is focused on football matters alone.
"I don't know if it will be his last season at Arsenal - we don't have to think about it. We just want to play and give back the trust he gave us," said the right back.
"I don't need to say how important the boss is to Arsenal but the contract situation is not a concern. Our job is on the pitch and not outside.
"This is another part of football and we just want to stay focused on the pitch to do our work and after that everything will be fine."
