Arsenal can confirm that defender Paul Rodgers has joined League One side Northampton Town on loan for one month.
The 19 year-old defender, who made his First Team debut by being named in the starting line up in the Carling Cup match at Burnley in December, signed professional terms with Arsenal in summer 2007.
During his career at Arsenal, Paul has been a regular at Youth level and in Neil Banfield’s Reserves, and gave a sterling performance in the First Team’s pre-season friendly against Barnet in July.
Paul will immediately join up with Northampton Town and will stay on loan with The Cobblers for a one month period up to and including 21st February 2009.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Paul the best of luck with Northampton Town.
