Josh Rees has joined League One side Brentford on loan for one month.

The 19-year-old midfielder broke into Arsenal’s under-21s set-up towards the end of the 2010/11 season and has so far made 23 appearances at that level.

A fast and skilful young player with an eye for goal, Rees now heads to Griffin Park for the opportunity to gain experience at senior level.

In joining the Bees, Rees follows in the footsteps of Wojciech Szczesny, who spent six successful months on loan with the club in 2009/10.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Josh well for his time with Brentford.
