Aaron, what's your take on the season so far?
It's been a really disappointing start to the season, there's no question about that. We've had a few decisions against us in games and we've had to pay for those. It has been a difficult start and one that we hope we can turn around pretty quickly.
What's gone wrong?
We've had a few sendings-off in games which have affected the game and ultimately we've paid the price for that so that's a few points lost. I think defensively as a team at times we've conceded sloppy goals. Hopefully now we can start defending properly and be more solid as a team. I think going forward we're still a threat, still dangerous. We just need a few things to improve on and we'll be fine.
Arsenal are always good on the ball; how can you improve off the ball?
I think as players we can understand our roles more and maybe communicate better. I think as soon as we become more solid off the ball we'll be OK and a real threat.
What are you doing well?
I think the way we pass the ball and create opportunities. We want to keep on doing that, creating chances and maybe score a few more. We've been in the right positions and maybe on other days those chances would go in. Going forward is not a problem, it's defending as a team [that we must improve].
What are your reflections on the Spurs game?
I think in the first half we were probably the better team but we switched off and paid the price for it. We came out in the second half and got the goal and I think we were on top for a large part of the second half and on another day we would have got a second goal which would have settled us down and gone on to win the game comfortably. But we switched off again, they scored another and we paid the price. So I think it's a case of fine-tuning our game and then we'll be alright.
There are still plenty of points to play for of course…
Absolutely, we are aiming to get back into the mix and hopefully on Sunday we can get the win there and go on a bit of a run which will give everyone confidence. Hopefully we can do that.
What have you seen of Sunderland this season?
I haven't seen much to be honest although I watched them against Stoke. They've had a big change over the summer so they are still settling in but Sunderland have always been a team which has done well, they are normally solid so we'll have to be aware of that.
Nicklas Bendtner is ineligible for Sunday's game - is that a relief?
Yes, I think he's scored a couple now and he scored again for Denmark the other night. He'll probably say he's in good form at the moment and if he doesn't play I'm sure that will be better for us.
