Aaron Ramsey says Arsenal’s home form will be key to progressing past the next round of the Champions League.

Arsène Wenger’s side booked their place in the last 16 of the competition on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund - the 12th season in a row they have reached that stage of the competition.

Arsenal have not lost at home in the Group Stage since 2003 and Ramsey believes they can take that form into the next stage.

“At home we've done really well and this is the place we want to make our fortress,” he said. “Hopefully that can be the case and I'm sure we've given ourselves a good opportunity now.

“It's a great achievement, we're the first team through and finished first as well. It's something we'll enjoy.

“We'll take it one game at a time. We feel like we can beat anybody at the moment with the form we're in so hopefully we get a good team and we can progress to the next round.”
