Ramsey reactionMidfielder discusses battling comeback against Villa
By Rob Kelly
Aaron Ramsey says Arsenal demonstrated their character in coming back from two goals down to beat Aston Villa on Sunday.
Arsène Wenger's side seemed to be heading out of the FA Cup after Richard Dunne and Darren Bent struck to put Villa into a half-time lead. But three goals in a magical seven-minute spell saw the Gunners complete a remarkable comeback to progress to the fifth round.
"I thought we played pretty well [in the first half] but we were sloppy on a couple of occasions and paid the price for it. We came out in the second half, believed in our qualities and carried on going, and it paid off in the end," Ramsey told Arsenal Player.
"We showed our character and our belief. To be 2-0 down at half time it is a tough task to come back and win the game, so I am really proud of the way we played."
