Arsène Wenger faced the media on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash with West Brom.

Here's a round-up of some of the manager's quotes. For the main headlines, visit our Digest page:

on the Manchester derby…
Honestly, I don’t know more than you about the result. I believe it’s very open. There’s no real dominating team in the league at the moment. You see that when you look at the results of the teams. There’s no team above anybody else.

on whether a draw will suit everyone…
Maybe. I don’t think that the two teams would settle for a draw, it’s difficult to predict. Last year it was one-way traffic and this year maybe it will be very tight. I don’t know. I’m much more focused on our own game.

on Wilfried Zaha...
I don’t want to go into any individual assessment on players. He is a good player but I wouldn’t like to talk about any specific name at the moment.

on an important transfer window...
I see every transfer period as the most important period. What is important for us is to add what we need but as well from now up until January is to get good results because we have important games. Before January, anyway, you play with the same squad. Yes [I have agents on the phone], they start to become very nervous!
