Arsène Wenger faced the media on Friday morning ahead of the Premier League trip to West Ham.

Here's a round-up of some of the manager's quotes. For the main headlines, visit our Digest page:

on taking public transport…
My thoughts are ‘I love it’. The only problem you have is not to talk. When I arrived here, the first time I came here I went to Highbury on the subway on the advice of Pat Rice and it was quite a good experience. I love it but now it’s a bit more difficult. I must say as well, I’m not in the need because I don’t live far from the training ground. I just travel by car.

on a possible loan deal for Frimpong…

I do not know yet. He needs to play, so before we envisage that, he needs to play games. He is not ready yet. I have heard of Wolves' interest, but at the moment I feel he needs to get back to a competitive edge before we plan anything for him.

on the goal conceded against Olympiacos…

We are not completely happy with the goal we conceded but we won and you could see with the English results over the two days that it is not easy. People are tempted to always underrate the performances in Europe. Last year we beat Dortmund and we drew away and everybody thought that was normal. But they are a great side and it is difficult to beat anybody. Olympiacos have been champions 14 times in the last 16 years. That means they have good players and they know how to deal with pressure.
