Ju Young Park joined Arsenal on Tuesday and, like all new signings, he sat down with Arsenal Player to give his reaction to the move.

The South Korean captain, who becomes Arsène Wenger’s fifth acquisition of the summer, agreed to join the Club from AS Monaco.

After completing the deal, he spoke exclusively about moving to the Premier League, what Arsenal fans can expect from him, his admiration for Arsène Wenger and more.

“I am very hounoured and I feel very happy to be at Arsenal,” he said. “They are a team that I dreamed about when I was young. I am very proud to be an Arsenal player.

“I just want to show how good I am and prove myself. It feels like a big step up but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to perform.

“I will work very hard, I will train very hard and I will show that I am able to be part of this Arsenal team.

“I will work hard to prove myself and build a reputation with the Arsenal fans. I have to show what I can do on the pitch. I will do my best, show heart and give everything for this Club.”

The full interview with Ju is now available on Arsenal Player. He discusses: his move to Emirates Stadium, comparisons with David Beckham, adapting to the Premier League, the pace of the English game, captaining his country, Park Ji-Sung, his message for the Arsenal fans and more.
