ARSENAL: BEST OF THE DECADE

Thierry Henry... celebrating his hat-trick against Wigan

Arsenal's most inspiring moment of the decade

Arsenal fans have voted the final day at Highbury as the Club's most inspiring moment of the decade.

Arsenal said goodbye to Highbury on May 7, 2006 after 93 years at their spiritual home. And they did so in spectacular fashion, pipping Tottenham to the fourth and final Champions League place with a dramatic 4-2 win over Wigan Athletic.

Our farewell to Highbury received a quarter of the votes cast in our first 'Best of Decade' poll.

The last match of the 'Invincibles' season finished second with 18 per cent - when Arsenal came from behind to beat Leicester and complete an unbeaten title campaign.

Two moments tied for third place: Jens Lehmann's penalty save from Juan Roman Riquelme which booked Arsenal's place at their first Champions League Final in 2006, and Eduardo's scoring return from injury earlier this year.
