The 2012 Paralympic Games are drawing to a close and Arsenal.com are tracking the progress of several Gooners competing in London.

Over the course of last season, we ran a series of features in the Official Matchday Programme with some Arsenal-supporting Paralympic hopefuls.

The final day sees one Gooner in action as triple gold medalist David Weir attempts to add to his 5,000m, 1,500m and 800m victories in the T54 wheelchair marathon.

Abdi Jama and his Great Britain team-mates missed out on a medal after losing their bronze medal match against the United States 61-46.

Great Britain, who previously lost against Canada at the semi-final stage, found themselves behind 29-20 at the interval. Despite an improved second half showing, Jama and co were unable to close the gap and had to settle for fourth.
