The 2012 Paralympic Games are underway and Arsenal.com will be tracking the progress of several Gooners competing in London.

Over the course of last season, we ran a series of features in the Official Matchday Programme with some Arsenal-supporting Paralympic hopefuls.

Today sees four featured Gooners in action.

David Weir is back in the men's 800m T54 heats at the Olympic Stadium, while Marc McCarroll continues his wheelchair tennis doubles campaign alongside Gordon Reid against French pair Frederic Cattaneo and Nicolas Peifer.

Rob Richardson will be part of Great Britain men's sitting volleyball team against Iran in the quarter-finals, while Abdi Jama takes to the basketball court once more as Team GB face Turkey in the final eight.

David Weir clinched his second gold medal of the 2012 Paralympic Games with victory in the men's 1500m T54 final at the Olympic Stadium.The London-born star retained his Beijing title with a time of 3:12:09.
