Santi Cazorla's superb long-range strike against West Ham has been voted as the Goal of the Month for October by Arsenal fans.

The Spanish schemer collected the ball outside the area, before firing a powerful left-footed strike into the top corner to put the seal on the Gunners' 3-1 victory.

Cazorla's fine effort collected 57 per cent of the votes, with Marouane Chamakh's cool lob in the incredible 7-5 extra-time victory over Reading receiving 11 per cent in second place.

Theo Walcott's opening strike at the Madejski Stadium, which prompted Arsenal's remarkable comeback, completed the top three after gaining seven per cent of the votes.
