Havard Nordtveit has signed for Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The versatile defender, 20, had been a regular for Arsenal’s Reserves this term with seven appearances and a goal to his name.
Pre-season, Havard was involved with the first team, joining them on their Austrian tour and playing in a number of friendlies.
Nordtveit spent the 2009/10 season on loan with German side Nurnberg, where he played 19 times and returns to Germany’s top flight to play for Michael Frontzeck’s side.
The Norwegian youth international joined Arsenal from FK Haugesund in 2007.
Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Havard for his contributions to the Club and we wish him well for the future.
