Jake Leaf presented Samir Nasri with his O2 Arsenal.com Player of the Month award before Saturday's game against Hull City.

The young Arsenal fan, from Kettering in Northamptonshire, met Nasri and won two tickets to watch the match. "Samir has shown great pace and ability and scored two goals in August, one of which turned out to be very important," said Jake.

Nasri scooped our August prize by a landslide, receiving a whopping 72.43 per cent of the votes. The French international was rewarded for a spectacular start to his Arsenal career, scoring after just three minutes of his Premier League debut against West Bromwich Albion at Emirates Stadium.

Nasri broke the deadlock once again as FC Twente were dispatched in the second leg of Arsenal's Champions League qualifier.

Our summer signing caught the eye with his touch, vision and passing ability, making a smooth adaptation from French football to the hustle and bustle of the Premier League. When the August poll results were announced, Jake was chosen to present Nasri with his award after voting for the Frenchman.

You can cast your vote for the September O2 Arsenal.com Player of the Month when our poll opens later this week. Once again, one lucky voter will be chosen to present the award and they will also win two tickets to a game at the Emirates.
