Chris Martinput the Rams ahead three minutes before half-time but two goals in threesecond-half minutes from Anthony Knockaert and Danny Drinkwater sent the Foxes through.

Francis Coquelin played 80 minutes in Freiburg's 2-1 win over Stuttgart in the German Cup. Matthias Ginter put the hosts in front in the 52nd minute before Mike Hanke doubled their advantage in the 70th minute. Vedan Ibisevic pulled one back for Stuttgart with three minutes left.
