Damian Martinez played 90 minutes as Sheffield Wednesday were held to a 1-1 draw by non league Macclesfield Town. Reda Johnson put Wednesday ahead in the first half but Steve Williams earned the hosts a replay with 18 minutes remaining.

Ignasi Miquel played 90 minutes as Leicester were knocked out of the FA Cup by Stoke. Kenwyne Jones put the Potters ahead in the 16th minute before Charlie Adam doubled their lead 10 minutes after the break. David Nugent pulled a goal back for the Foxes but Stoke held on to progress to the fourth round.

Joel Campbell played the full game as Olympiacos returned from the winter break with a routine 4-0 win at home to Kalloni. Javier Saviola opened the scoring on 13 minutes before goals from Alejandro Dominguez, Kostas Manolas and Paulo Machado completed the win.

Wellington Silva played the final half hour in Real Murcia's 2-1 defeat at home to Tenerife. Aridane put the visitors in front in the 10th minute before Kike levelled for Murcia. But a penalty from Lusimi Loro two minutes before the end of the first half separated the teams.
