Every season a number of Arsenal players go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience.

 

The 2010/11 campaign is no different and fourteen young Gunners have already linked up with their loan clubs.

Vito Mannone again started for Hull City and recorded a second successive clean sheet as the Tigers beat Ipswich 1-0 on Saturday. Robert Koren's superb finish won the game 13 minutes from time as Nigel Pearson’s side moved to 19th in the Championship.

Gavin Hoyte played the full 90 minutes as Lincoln City recorded their second consecutive league win with a 3-1 victory over Hereford on Saturday. Hoyte’s side started well with Ben Hutchinson and Delroy Facey ensuring a 2-0 half-time lead against their relegation rivals. Stuart Fleetwood pulled one back after 55 minutes though Mustapha Carayol made the game safe two minutes later and ensured Lincoln move to 16th in League Two.

Ruben Castro put Betis in front just after the hour mark before Toche scored twice in the final five minutes to give the home side victory. Cartagena move up to tenth in the Spanish Segunda Division.

Kyle Bartley played the full 90 minutes for Sheffield United as they beat Crystal Palace 3-2 on Saturday. The Blades went behind through a Neil Danns penalty after 18 minutes but hit back with a spot kick of their own six minutes before the break. James Vaughan's header put the visitors back in front before Ched Evans hooked home an equaliser five minutes from time. Gary Speed’s side then won the game two minutes later when Daniel Bogdanovic scored from the penalty spot. The Arsenal loanee’s side move up to 18th in the Championship.

Adam Dugdale’s own goal after just two minutes was enough to move the Millers up to fourth in League Two, five points behind leaders Chesterfield.
