There are currently five Arsenal youngsters out on loan. Gavin Hoyte joined League One side Brighton and Hove Albion last week. In the Championship Jay Simpson is with Queens Park Rangers, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is at Blackpool and Henri Lansbury is with Watford. Havard Nordtveit has moved to Bundesliga outfit Nurnberg for the entire season.

Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 Gillingham

Gavin Hoyte helped Brighton lift themselves out the relegation zone by playing 90 minutes in their 2-0 victory over Gillingham at the Withdean Stadium on Tuesday evening. Elliott Bennett put the Seagulls ahead with a free-kick after 25 minutes before Tommy Elphick headed home Bennett's cross 12 minutes from time to secure the points.
