Every season a number of Arsenal players go out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience.
 
The 2010/11 campaign is no different and eight young Gunners have already linked up with their loan clubs.

Thomas Cruise débuted for Carlisle United on Saturday as they thumped non-league Tipton Town 6-0 on Saturday. The defender played the full 90 minutes with Gary Madine scoring four times and Francois Zoko bagging a brace on a comfortable afternoon for the League One side. Cruise is on loan with Greg Abbott’s side until December 3.

Benik Afobe made his debut for loan side Huddersfield when he came on as a 64th minute substitute in a 2-0 win away at Sheffield Wednesday last Tuesday. He then played out a 0-0 draw with non-league Cambridge United in the FA Cup on Saturday. The 17-year-old impressed throughout the 90 minutes and set up a chance for Anthony Pilkington to score the winner in added time but his left-footed shot was saved well. Afobe is on loan at the League Two club until December 4.

Gavin Hoyte played the full 90 minutes as struggling Lincoln beat non-league Nuneaton 1-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday. They left it late though and had to wait until deep into injury time before Albert Jarrett's free kick won the game. On Tuesday the defender again played the full 90 minutes as Northampton's routine win piled more misery on the Imps in League Two. Steve Tilson’s side remain in the relegation zone with just 13 points from 15 games and just a point above bottom side Barnet.

Mark Randall didn’t feature for Rotherham as they drew 0-0 with non-league York in the FA Cup on Saturday. The midfielder is currently enduring a spell on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone during his debut for the League Two side on October 30.

Pedro Botelho played the full 90 minutes for Cartagena as they beat Granada 2-1 on Saturday. Victor put Botelho’s side ahead after 11 minutes before Fabian Orellana drew the sides level just four minutes later. Toche then scored the winning goal eight minutes before the break with the victory leaving Cartagena tenth in the Spanish Segunda division.

Cedric Evina played the full 90 minutes for Oldham as they crashed out of the FA Cup with a 3-2 defeat against Accrington Stanley on Saturday. Evina’s side were three goals down after to a brace from Ray Putterill and a goal from Jimmy Ryan put the League Two side in control. Paul Dickov’s side did pull two goals back but they couldn’t find an equaliser.

Nacer Barazite was an 81st-minute substitute for Vitesse Arnhem as they drew 1-1 with AZ Alkmaar on Sunday. Graziano Pelle put AZ ahead two minutes after the break and that’s the way it stayed until deep into injury time when Ismail Aissati scored a dramatic equaliser. The point means Barazite’s side remain in the relegation zone with just ten points from 13 games.

Kyle Bartley returned from a fractured cheekbone to play for the first time since the end of September as Sheffield United lost 2-1 against Ipswich on Saturday. Bartley played the whole match with his side going behind after just six minutes through Tamas Priskin's close-range effort. They levelled when Stephen Quinn drilled home from 12 yards on the half-hour mark though Gareth McAuley fired home Grant Leadbitter's centre just before half-time to seal the points for Ipswich. The defeat laves Gary Speed’s side 19th in the Championship and just a point above the drop zone.

Francis Coquelin played the full 90 minutes for Lorient as they recorded an impressive 2-1 away win over Saint-Etienne on Saturday. Kevin Gameiro scored a brace to move Coquelin’s side to ninth in Ligue 1 with 17 points from 12 games.

Luke Freeman was an unused substitute for Yeovil as they beat Rushden and Diamonds 1-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday. Andy Williams scored the only goal of the game seven minutes from time to book Terry Skiverton’s side a place in the next round. On Tuesday the Arsenal loanee came on as an 83rd-minute substitute in the Glovers’ 3-2 away defeat at MK Dons in League One. Freeman came on with the scores level at 2-2 but a late Peter Leven penalty won the game with just three minutes to go. Yeovil remain in the relegation zone with just 15 points from 15 games.

After going behind to a Luiz Jimenez strike after just 11 minutes the Arsenal loanee’s side came back with goals from Alessandro Del Piero, Fabio Quagliarella and Vincenzo Iaquinta to record a win that keeps them fourth in Serie A and four points behind league leaders Lazio.

Sanchez Watt didn’t feature for Leeds as they beat Coventry 3-2 on Saturday. Jonny Howson nodded an early opener for the visitors before Robert Snodgrass made it two with a long-range effort. Lukas Jutkiewicz converted Ben Turner's header to pull one back but Watt’s side soon extended the lead with a Max Gradel penalty on the hour mark. Turner got his second three minutes later but Leeds held on for a win that moves them up to eighth in the Championship, just one point outside the play-off places.
