Arsène Wenger believes that
Jens Lehmann's future will be sorted out in days.
According to his manager, the German keeper put in a
"faultless performance" at Burnley in the FA Cup on
Sunday. However, in the build-up to the game, it had been suggested
Lehmann was set to return to Borussia Dortmund.
After the 2-0 win, Wenger re-iterated his desire to retain the
services of the most experienced player in his squad. However he
accepts the 38-year-old may be going.
"Jens had a faultless performance and prepared like the 100
per cent professional he is," said the Frenchman. "Will
he leave or not? I wish he stays. We'll know in the next few
days."
