Henri Lansbury has joined West Ham United on a season-long loan.

The 20 year-old midfielder, who has featured twice for Arsenal already this term, heads to Upton Park to gain further first-team experience.

Lansbury enjoyed a successful loan with Norwich City last season, playing 23 times for Paul Lambert’s side as they won promotion to the Barclays Premier League. His young career has also taken in loan spells with Watford and Scunthorpe United.

An England Under-21 International, he featured in this summer’s European Championships in Denmark. He has captained his country at Under-19 and Under-16 level.

The Enfield-born youngster joined Arsenal at just eight years of age and signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners in January 2010.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Henri the best of luck for his time in East London.
