Shelley Kerr has urged her players to "put on a performance" for the live television cameras this week.

Arsenal Ladies return to Meadow Park for the first time since winning the FA Women’s Cup when they take on Chelsea in the Women’s Super League on Thursday afternoon.

The game is being screened live on ESPN and Kerr wants her team to do themselves proud.

“It's important that you provide entertainment when you get media attention and are in the spotlight,” Kerr told Arsenal.com. “We try to do that with or without the TV cameras at our games but it's an added bonus if we can go and put on a performance for the team and for the supporters, as well as for the viewers at home.

“It's very important that you provide an attractive and entertaining game. Hopefully everyone tuning in on Thursday night will see a really entertaining game.

“It's so important to put on a show and reward your supporters when they make the effort to travel miles to watch. They were great at the cup final and they were great last Thursday too.

“The support from our fans was fantastic. The players are aware of it and they really appreciate how good and how vocal they are. That's important.”

Tickets for Thursday's game can be bought at the gate, priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. A family ticket, made up of two adults and two children, can be purchased for £10.

The Ladies are holding a free football festival from 5.45pm on the day of the game. Click here for more information
