The Arsenal 2012 Tour, presented by Emirates, is currently deep into its Beijing leg.
Gervinho and Francis Coquelin were given a lesson in the ancient Chinese game of Jianzi on Wednesday.
The game, in which players aim to keep a heavily weighted shuttlecock in the air using their feet and other parts of the body, is about concentration and flexibility. The western version of the game is hacky sack.
The Arsenal duo were given a display by a 65-year-old Jianzi 'master' who had trained for 40 years, before receiving some tuition and having a go themselves.
It wasn't long before the players decided to return the favour and showed some tricks and flicks to the master - using a football - before gifts were exchanged.
