Carl Jenkinson has been called up to the England squad for the friendly in Sweden on November 14, providing he receives international clearance in time.

The 20-year-old has been in impressive form at club level this season, and has caught the eye of England manager Roy Hodgson.

Jenkinson, who has a Finnish mother and appeared for that nation in an under-21 international last year, must wait for FIFA’s permission before he can officially join up with the England squad.

Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott have also been included for the game which will open the Friends Arena stadium in Stockholm.
