Olivier Giroud opened the scoring in France's win at home to Georgia. The striker played the full game and was on target in first-half stoppage time. Laurent Koscielny was an unused substitute.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored his second England goal in their comprehensive victory over San Marino. The winger made it 2-0 after 28 minutes, exchanging passes with Wayne Rooney before finishing with his left foot.

Aaron Ramsey scored and was sent off as Wales came from behind to beat Scotland at Hampden Park. The midfielder equalised from the penalty spot after 73 minutes before being dismissed in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.

Santi Cazorla started in Spain's surprise draw at home to Finland. The playmaker was replaced by Pedro at half time. Nacho Monreal was an unused substitute for Vicente Del Bosque's side.

Per Mertesacker was part of the Germany defence that kept a clean sheet in their comfortable win against Kazakhstan. The centre half played the entirety of the game, while Lukas Podolski came on for Julian Draxler after 19 minutes.
Czech Republic 0-3 Denmark, March 22
Tomas Rosicky came on after an hour but could not prevent Czech Republic from suffering a heavy home defeat against Denmark.

Johan Djourou started as Switzerland were held to a goalless draw in Strovolos. The defender was replaced by ex-Arsenal centre half Philippe Senderos after 52 minutes.
Ivory Coast 3-0 Gambia, March 23
Gervinho played the full 90 minutes as Ivory Coast earned a comfortable win against Gambia. The forward was booked with 15 minutes to play.
United States 1-0 Costa Rica, March 23
Joel Campbell was a second-half substitute as Costa Rica were beaten in Denver. The forward came on for Cristian Bolanos just after the hour.
