Carlos Vela played 35 minutes of the second half in Mexico's 1-0 home win over Chile on Sunday. A crowd of 95,000 were at the ground in Coyoacan to see Mexico's last home game before the World Cup and Alberto Medina struck the only goal 14 minutes in. Vela will now return to London with his country to face Theo Walcott and England on Sunday before friendlies against Robin van Persie's Netherlands and world champions Italy.
