Arsène Wenger could have Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor back for the Premier League clash with Manchester City on April 4.
Fabregas has been missing since Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on December 21 with medial knee ligament damage while Adebayor has not featured since the goalless draw with Tottenham last month.
But the Arsenal manager could be handed a double boost when the Premier League reconvenes after the next international break.
“After the international break, Cesc should be back,” Wenger said at Friday’s pre-match press conference. “He is very close.
“Adebayor too should be back after the international break.”Copyright 2017 The Arsenal Football Club plc. Permission to use quotations from this article is granted subject to appropriate credit being given to www.arsenal.com as the source
