Two former Arsenal youngsters are on the move from their respective clubs this summer.

Burnley's Danny Karbassiyoon is joining Dutch club AZ Alkmaar on trial with a view to a permanent move. The 21-year-old spent the 2004/05 campaign at Highbury, making three appearances and scoring one goal in the Carling Cup win at Manchester City.

Elsewhere, former Arsenal trainee Liam Chilvers, has joined Preston on a free transfer from newly-promoted Championship rivals Colchester.

The 24-year-old defender said: "I've been with Colchester for two years and had good times there. We got promoted and had good cup runs.

"But in the long run I feel this move will benefit my career. Preston have been challenging for promotion recently and I had to take this opportunity."
