Arsenal Football Club would like to make all supporters aware of transport issues on Sunday 23rd October 2011, the day of Arsenal v Stoke City at Emirates Stadium in the Premier League (kick off 1.30pm).

Due to the Victoria Line upgrade works on London Underground, there will be NO VICTORIA LINE SERVICES on Sunday 23rd October 2011, which could severely affect supporters’ journeys to and from Emirates Stadium.

However, in order to relieve potential congestion at Arsenal tube station after the match, the Club is pleased to announce that Emirates Stadium will host a friendly match between Arsenal Under-18s and Chelsea Under-18s, immediately after the Arsenal v Stoke City Premier League fixture (which kicks off at 1.30pm, and is expected to finish at approximately 3.20pm).

This will be a unique and exciting opportunity for fans to see Steve Bould’s richly talented Under-18 side at first hand in the surroundings of Emirates Stadium.

Further details regarding the Under-18s match and alternative routes for supporters to local stations on the day will follow soon on and in future Arsenal Matchday programmes.
