Wednesday, April 15 marks the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
Ninety-six Liverpool supporters were killed as a result of a crush at the Leppings Lane end of Sheffield Wednesday's home ground at the start of the FA Cup Semi-Final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in 1989. It remains the largest stadium-related disaster in British football history.
Today, football fans will gather at Anfield to pay their respects to those who lost their lives. From 3.06pm - the time when the Semi-Final was abandoned 20 years ago - two minutes of silence will be observed.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes to send their condolences to those who lost family or friends to the Hillsborough disaster.
