Thierry Henry has heaped praise upon the performance of Mathieu Flamini against Real Madrid.

In both legs, the left back performed above expectation, snuffing out much of the danger created by David Beckham and Co. Not bad for a right-footed midfielder with only five games of experience in the position.

"We were a young side against Real Madrid but so far in the Champions League they all did well," said the Arsenal captain.

"Mathieu Flamini is not a left back but to do what he is doing at the moment is amazing. You can talk about a lot of players but I would like to talk about him. He is out of position and he was marking one of the best wingers in the world in David Beckham. Also the likes of Ronaldo and Zidane were going there. He was incredible."

33/1 - Reyes to score the only goal of the game
