Conor Henderson is expected to be out for a minimum of six months after damaging his cruciate ligaments.
The 19-year-old midfielder twisted his knee in the final seconds of the 2-1 win over Cologne on Saturday and was stretchered off. The Irishman flew home that night for tests and, unfortunately, they revealed a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
“Conor has a knee injury and it looks as if it is a cruciate,” Arsène Wenger told Arsenal.com. “That means unfortunately that he will be out for six months at the very least.”Copyright 2017 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
