GunnersGaming by Betsson, Arsenal’s Official Betting Partner, give us the rundown on some of the markets on offer ahead of Sunday’s titanic clash with Man City...
The Gunners travel north on Sunday to take on a Manchester City side still smarting from their first Premier League loss of the season. A win for Arsenal would certainly blow the title race wide open and re-establish the Gunners’ credentials as genuine contenders. Arsène Wenger’s side will no doubt be determined to continue their current form into the New Year.
The sides have already met once this season but that cagey Carling Cup defeat will have little relevance by the time kick-off comes around on Sunday. If Arsenal take anything from that game it should be the clinical way that City counter-attacked, punishing Arsenal late in the game. The Gunners’ rearguard will have to be alert to such danger for the full 90 minutes if they are to come away with a positive result.
However, they will take confidence from their resolute defence of late, which has seen them concede just twice in their last five games. Back there to be less than 1.5 goals in the game at 11/3 (4.7), or Arsenal to win and keep a clean sheet, available at 8/1(9.0).
Arsenal’s last trip to the City of Manchester Stadium ended in a convincing 3-0 victory and you will be rewarded for backing a repeat of that scoreline at an unlikely 84/1 (85.0). However, it has been 21 games since City lost by more than one goal so why not back Arsenal for a tight 1-0 win at a tempting 11/1 (12.0)?
Robin van Persie comes into the game fresh from his spectacular winner last week and nobody would be surprised by a repeat on Sunday. Why not back the flying Dutchman to score first at 11/2 (6.5)?
GunnersGaming would like to wish the team all the best against Manchester City on Sunday. As an added incentive, GunnersGaming are rewarding anyone that places a £5 Premier League combination bet that includes Man City v Arseanal with 10 free spins on the Hall of Gods, which currently has a jackpot of £4.4 Million!
