With Non-League Day on Saturday (October 13) Arsenal were pleased to help Conference South side Boreham Wood FC with their travel arrangements this weekend.
Boreham Wood FC, who are managed by former Gunner Ian Allinson and are home to the double winning Arsenal Ladies, will use Arsenal’s first-team coach for their visit to Salisbury City on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal Club Secretary David Miles said: “We have enjoyed a very strong relationship with Boreham Wood FC over the years and are delighted to have the opportunity to help the team with their travel with the kind assistance of Ellisons coaches. We wish Ian Allinson and his players all the best for the match.”
Non-League Day is a celebration of the semi-professional and amateur game and - with the absence of Premier League and international football this weekend - provides an opportunity for supporters to pay a visit to their local club side.
