Kieran Gibbs will definitely miss Arsenal's trip to Manchester United after suffering an ankle injury on Wednesday night.
The England left back limped off after 24 minutes of the 3-1 victory over Partizan Belgrade and left Emirates Stadium on crutches.
Gibbs has been incredibly unlucky with his fitness - he missed most of last season with a broken metatarsal and has already suffered injuries to his foot, knee and ankle this term. A scan on Thursday will determine the length of his latest lay-off.
"Kieran has a twisted ankle, an ankle sprain," revealed Arsène Wenger after the Partizan game.
"I don't know how damaged his ankle is - he will have a scan tomorrow [Thursday]. He is unbelievably unlucky.
"No [it is not the same ankle he injured recently], it is the right one tonight. I spoke to him, he is quite down. He is on crutches. I cannot tell you more. We will know tomorrow but he is already out for Monday night."Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
