Abou Diaby and Sebastien Squillaci could return for next weekend’s FA Cup clash with Huddersfield Town.

The French duo have been sidelined by calf and hamstring injuries respectively but the Fifth-Round tie at Emirates Stadium on January 30 is a realistic target for them both, according to Arsène Wenger.

“On the injury front we have nobody injured from our last game at Leeds and the players who are injured - Diaby and Squillaci - I think they are one week away,” he said.

“Almunia (ankle) is close as well, Fabianski (shoulder) is still out, so at the moment it is not too bad for this period of the season and considering the number of games we play.”

As previously reported on, Marouane Chamakh and Denilson are expected to shrug off minor knocks to face Wigan on Saturday.

Meanwhile Thomas Vermaelen (tendon) is expected to return in six weeks. Click here for Wenger’s clarification on the centre back’s injury.
