FULHAM 1-3 ARSENAL
Premier League, Craven Cottage, September 15, 2001

Craven Cottage has been an unhappy hunting ground for Arsenal in recent seasons with two defeats in their last three visits. So let's accentuate the positive in the build-up to Saturday's game with memories of a thumping away win in west London.

Arsenal had wobbled at the start of the 2001/02 campaign, losing their opening home game to Leeds and succumbing to Real Mallorca in Europe on the night of September 11. But they bounced back at Fulham.

Freddie Ljungberg gave the visitors a first-half lead but Steed Malbranque levelled just after the break. Then Arsenal's big hitters flexed their muscles. Thierry Henry restored the lead with eight minutes left and Dennis Bergkamp came off the bench to find the top corner in stoppage time.

That got Arsenal back on track and they went to on dethrone Manchester United and win the title that season.
