Two former Arsenal team-mates have signed on at new clubs ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

Julian Gray, who made just one appearance for the Gunners, has been snapped up by Coventry boss Iain Dowie after he was released by Birmingham City last month. The 27-year-old winger played under Dowie at Crystal Palace and has signed a two-year deal at the Ricoh Arena.

Meanwhile defender Rhys Weston has joined League One side Port Vale. The right back made three first-team appearances for Arsenal before stints at Cardiff City and Norway's Viking FK. The 26-year-old, capped seven times by Wales, has signed a one-year contract.
