Emmanuel Eboue has made a remarkable recovery from injury to be
named in the squad for the visit of Tottenham on Saturday.
The Arsenal midfielder was stretchered off midway through the
second half against Chelsea last week with a nasty-looking knee
injury. In his post-match press conference Arsène Wenger
suggested the Ivorian may take a week or two to recover.
However, Eboue passed a precautionary fitness test on Friday
morning and will be available for the North London derby.
"He had stretched [medial knee ligaments] again but two days
later it was much better," said the manager on Friday.
"He had also hurt his ankle a little bit and he was scared he
had done it again. But he had a fitness test this morning and
succeeded. He's in the squad.
"That means Theo Walcott [flu] is out but everybody else is
available and even Theo practised this morning. So there are no
major changes."
