Cesc Fabregas admits Barcelona are “probably the best side in the world” but he intends to treat them like any other team when they face Arsenal in the Champions League Quarter-Final.

The Spaniard confessed he and his team-mates were thrilled by Friday’s draw but, speaking after Saturday's win against West Ham, the 22-year-old was not prepared to be overawed.

“It is very exciting,” he said. “We are going to play against the best team in Europe, probably in the world. The boys are really looking forward to it as it is another opportunity to play against a great team in a great stadium. It will be very exciting.

“But if we had been drawn against Bordeaux or Lyon we would have taken it the same way. Barcelona is a great team but we always go with the same mentality and that is to win.

“If you want to win this competition, you have to beat everyone who is coming.”
