Cesc Fabregas
Fabregas expected to return against Man City
By Chris Harris
Cesc Fabregas should be fit to face Manchester City in two weeks' time.
The Arsenal captain suffered knee ligament damage against Liverpool on December 21 but returned to full training on Thursday. Fabregas will not be ready to face Newcastle on Saturday but he is expected to make his comeback after the international break.
That means the Spaniard will be fit for the Champions League double-header against Villarreal and the FA Cup Semi-Final against Chelsea - the stand-out fixtures in a busy April for Arsenal.
"Cesc should be fit in two weeks," confirmed Arsène Wenger at his pre-match press conference.
"He is back in full training now and during the international break he has two weeks to sharpen up. Normally, he should be available again against Manchester City."
