Cesc Fabregas celebrates scoring Spain's fourth goal against New Zealand
Internationals: Cesc strikes for Spain
Cesc Fabregas (90 minutes)
New Zealand 0-5 Spain, June 14
Cesc scored Spain’s fourth goal as the European Champions got their Confederations Cup campaign off to a flying start against New Zealand.
Fernando Torres had hit a stunning 11-minute hat-trick early in the first half before the Arsenal captain swooped in the 24th minute after some delightful build-up from Albert Riera.
David Villa then made it five when he capitalised on a defensive mistake three minutes after the interval.
Double figures looked a genuine possibility but New Zealand somewhat steadied the ship after the strike and La Roja had to make do with their fantastic five.
