Arsenal players react positively to a loud atmosphere at Emirates Stadium, according to Lukasz Fabianski.

The goalkeeper attended a Members' Q and A session at the stadium on Tuesday night. He told fans there that he believes the players notice when the ground is louder than usual, and added that Champions League nights seem especially noisy.

"Against West Ham it was quite loud," he said. "You could feel that straight away. I think the players reacted to that.

"I realise that Champions League games are different. Maybe it is because of the lights, I don't know."

Arsenal's last European game was the 5-0 victory over Porto, and Fabianski believes that the Gunners have a tendency to be more successful against teams who play open, attacking football.

"You can see the difference," he said. "Porto tried to play an open game and it ended up 5-0.

"I think for us we do better when the game is open. We will see how we do against Barcelona."
