Barcelona 1-0 Villarreal
Friday, April 14, 2006

Villarreal will be without two key defenders for Wednesday's Champions League Semi-Final first leg against Arsenal at Highbury.

Gonzalo Rodriguez and Juan Manuel Pena both picked up injuries in the 1-0 defeat at Barcelona on Friday. Rodriguez is expected to miss the rest of the season and Pena has also been ruled out despite completing 90 minutes at the Nou Camp.

Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini will also be without suspended Uruguay keeper Sebastian Viera, but he can recall Juan Ramon Riquelme for the trip to London. The Argentinian was among six first-team regulars rested for the Barcelona game.

"I expect maximum effort from my reserve players because this kind of match will be decisive for our season," said Pellegrini.
