Standard Liège

Standard Liege suffered a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Gent in the Belgium Pro League on Saturday. Gohi Bi Cyriac had put Liege ahead after just three minutes but Christophe Lepoint equalised for the hosts shortly before half time. Adnan Custovic then gave Gent the lead with a 65th-minute penalty leaving Standard 10 points behind league leaders Anderlecht.

AZ Alkmaar

Roda JC 2-4 AZ Alkmaar

AZ Alkmaar overturned a 2-1 deficit to beat Roda JC 4-2 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday. After Jeremain Lens had given the visitors a third-minute lead, goals from Pa-Modou Kah and Jeanvion Yulu-Matondo saw Roda take the upper hand in the game. However, Rasmus Elm equalised for AZ with 20 minutes remaining and within 10 minutes the Dutch champions were 4-2 up courtesy of Lens' second goal of the game and a strike from Jonathas. Ronald Koeman's side are sixth in the league table with 22 points from 14 games.

Olympiacos FC

PAS Giannina 2-2 Olympiacos

Two late strikes saw PAS Giannina steal a point from Olympiacos on Saturday. Michal Zewlakow scored the first for Arsenal's Group H rivals after 24 minutes and Zico's side looked to have the points wrapped up when Konstantinos Mitroglou added a second with 10 minutes to go. However, Christos Tzanis gave Giannina a lifeline on 83 minutes before Ibrahima Bakayoko grabbed the equaliser in the 90th minute. The point sees Olympiacos fall two points behind Greek Super League leaders Panathinaikos.
