Villarreal 0-2 Malaga
Saturday, April 11.

Marcos Senna suffered a hamstring injury in Villarreal’s defeat against Malaga and will miss Wednesday’s trip to Emirates Stadium.

The influential midfielder, who opened the scoring against the Gunners last week, picked up the problem 10 minutes from time against seventh-placed Malaga.

Sergio Duda slid the visitors ahead after 38 minutes and, as Villarreal pushed for an equaliser, Pereira Elisue finished a sweeping counter-attack with a crisp finish in the 86th minute.

Senna joins Santi Cazorla on the sidelines while Cani and Mati Fernandez are also doubtful for Wednesday’s clash.
