Montpellier 1-1 Saint-Etienne

Montpellier’s stuttering start to the season continued with a draw against Saint-Etienne. Pierre Aubameyang gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half time, before Souleymane Camara levelled things up with 20 minutes to go. Montpellier have won just one of their first six Ligue 1 games and are 16th in the table.

Schalke 04

Schalke 0-2 Bayern Munich
Saturday, September 22

Schalke went down to their first defeat of the season, losing at home to Bayern Munich. After a goalless first half, the visitors struck twice in three second-half minutes with goals from Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller securing victory for Bayern. Schalke are fifth in the Bundesliga with seven points from four games.

Olympiacos FC

Olympiacos 4-1 Panthrakikos
Sunday, September 23

Olympiacos maintained their 100 per cent start to the Superliga season with a convincing victory over Panthrakikos. The hosts were three up inside half an hour, thanks to goals from Rafik Djebbour, Jose Holebas and an own goal from Dimitris Sikliopidis. Djebbour grabbed his second after 51 minutes, before the visitors scored a late consolation.
