AS Roma 1-0 Siena
Saturday, February 21.

Roma warmed up for Tuesday’s visit to North London with a laboured victory over Siena on Saturday night.

After a goalless first half, Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Taddei produced a sublime curling effort after 63 minutes to hand the hosts the lead against his former side.

Former Middlesbrough striker Massimo Maccarone squandered two decent opportunities to equalise later on in the second half but Siena were unable to find a goal.

Roma remain sixth in Serie A; they trail leaders Internazionale by 16 points.
