Atalanta 3-0 AS Roma
Sunday, February 15.
Three goals in seven second-half minutes were enough to send 10-man Roma to their first defeat in eight games on Sunday night.
Daniele Capelli handed the hosts the lead after 52 minutes with a well taken right-foot finish before Cristiano Doni tapped in from close range four minutes later. Doni made it three on 59 minutes when he latched onto Gianpaolo Bellini’s through-ball before finding the net. Simeone Perrotta was cautioned after 85 minutes for a heavy challenge and was dismissed four minutes later for a second bookable offence.
Roma now sit sixth in Serie A, 16 points off leaders Internazionale.
